I usually pull my atv trailer with my 98GMC Sierra that has some sort of towing package for the hitch. Works well.
Tomorrow, I need to borrow my daughter's 95GMC Sierra that simply has a ball hitch attached to the bumper.
Can I pull the atv trailer with the bumper ball hitch?
Standard BeerLeg response......It depends.:-D 😀 😀 😀
You need to check the bumper or the owners manual to see what the limits on tongue weight and trailer weight are for towing with the bumper. Also, if the trailer doesn't ride level when attached to the bumper due to height, vehicle handling can be adversely affected.
You probably can. But, tongue weight is important. And, as Stephen above said, the trailer should be level.
How heavy is this trailer? Most atv trailers are small enough, and light enough, to do just fine.

Thanks fellas. It is just a typical 5x8 like you'd get at Tractor Supply. But just to be safe tomorrow I am borrowing a buddies truck with a towing package. I hope W's new site will let me do spell checking from my iPhone.
The GMC would be able to tow that trailer with ATV.
😉
Four wheelers don't weigh that much and people haul them all the time in the beds of 95 nad 98 GMC Sierras. Hook the trailer up anywhere and haul that sucker. Typically the tongue weight shouldn't exceed 500lbs on the bumper.
You could pull that trailer with a minivan. I wouldn't hesitate one bit pulling it off the bumper. My wife pulls a trailer like that with an S10 all the time.
