Also helps if you can remember Jackie Gleason (Ralph Cramden), Art Carney(Ed Norton) and Jane Meadows( Alice Cramden). The Honeymooners.

I've always heard that art is subjective. So why is that no one names their kid, Subjective?

And exactly how do you know there is no kid Subjective? With folks like Frank Zappa naming his kids Moon Unit and Dweezel, there well may be other strange names out there.

Apparently I have thrown away millions of dollars worth of art that used to be stuck to my fridge with magnets.

As for refrigerator art, there is a story that I heard years ago. Debi Mazar, an actress, was friends with the artist Jean Michel Basquiat when both were young and unknown in NYC. He was homeless at times and was a street artist and she let him crash at her apartment on occasion. It seemed that he painted a piece on her old and faulty refrigerator door that she had there.

Later in time when she was out of town, she let a visitor use her apartment when she was out of town. The visitor decided to show her appreciation by buying a new fridge to replace hers. She said that old fridge wasn't working well.

Well a Basquiat painting sold for $57,000,000 to a Japanese investor a few years ago.

Most of work sells for big money

Well, that isn't the Mike Johnson I was expecting, who has posted some good sketches on this forum in the past.

Maybe if it were Banksy I could see it. I can feel a Banksy, or a Dali but, the Basquiat art just seems too scattered. Of course I don't have $75MM burning a hole in my pocket either.

After Katrina, Banksy floated into New Orleans on the hush and did a series of street murals and left.
A few years ago, two dudes tried to steal one off a building. Some others were ruined and some removed for protection but I think some still exist.
I think they are under video surveillance but not sure.
