Looking to Upgrade our GPS and interested in a Spectra Epoch-50, the cost is very managable and the specs look ok. Trimble just bought out spectra and I think that they would put out a decent product... Just wondering if anyone has had the chance to use this setup...

In the interest of full disclosure....
I do work for a Trimble and Spectra dealer.
I have an Epoch 50 and have done some testing with it. It seems to work really well.
Initializes fast and stays fixed well.
I have not had a chance to wring it out in GPS unfriendly areas yet...

Chances are it is actually a Trimble GPS unit painted a different color. So it probably does work well, if you enjoy using Survey Pro.
