Here's a painting that I'm working on at the moment. It's yet another place that a survey took me to, this one in West Texas near Presidio. The actual scene itself was something out of Tunisia, a house (not seen in the frame) built entirely of adobe with load-bearing catenary-arched ceilings, set against a backdrop of distant mountains. Except it was in West Texas, not North Africa.
to me, the painting evokes feeling of calmness... I think one can't be a good surveyor if he is not talented.

I thought I'd improve the odds of you finding one or two you like if I sent you a couple of extra. :>

What I particularly like about the scene is how the landscape is contained in the space between the buildings. In reality, those buildings are surrounded by seemingly endless desert and even this house with adobe (mud brick) walls three feet thick seems like a dot on the landscape.
