as I recall, it was 27-3 with under 2 minutes and PSU scored a trash time TD with 2 pt conversion. Eh, what's that about?
It was evident that Saban respected Ole Joe and did not embarass him in front of the home crowd. You don't want to get a rep like that among your coaching peers. He did not push PSU down the previous year in Tucaloosa in deference to Joe Pa the Legend.
Saban probaly has a deep respect for Paterno and his career.
