Your most Holiness, you just gave me a great idea! I’ll replace the standard bird feeder pole with a “Stripper Pole” (chrome). He he he, the little furry tailed rodents won’t be able to climb that. And if they do I’ll tip them a fiver! (OH Boy if SWMBO reads this I’m going have some explaining to do.);-)

Have a great week/weekend!

Now that's is funny - got to show my SWMBO this thread.

Thanks for the warning - now I have to watch for bears in Illinois.

> Heck SURVEYLTD, I've tried Pam, Crisco, Lard, Jergans extra strength moistening leg stuff and axle grease on the pole. The squirrels just lick it all off.

OMG!! I cant help but LMAO picturing this!!! 😀 GO squirrel!! 😉

> Mr. Bear complied with those directives promptly. This morning I noticed the pole, on which the feeder resides, was bent in half, the bird feeder on the ground (sans seeds) and torn all to hell.

You have bears in Florida?? :-O

Kudos to Jeff Foxworthy, it actually works.

We have the Moses of squirrels, nicknamed Fat Bastard, who sprawls out on the top rail of the fence while surrounded by most of our cats. They are too well fed and he is too aggressive to present any real threat, but let our tuxedo cat round the corner and he vaporizes.
