former bud got laid off over a yr ago, searched for work--nothing--took a job with meadowgol grow operations well outnumber thed dairy stocking trucks with milk porducts for 16.72 an hr thay includes the shift differential--he was surviving barely--he got laid off after new yrs-did nothing for a few weeks--decided to bone up on this new medical marijuana thingy in colorado-i went to denver last fri and decided to pop over and see him--we have had an abundance of rain lately---his whole back yard was full of plants--i didn't know they have male and female plants==his whole house, basement, attic plants everywhere in various stages of growth--he grows for many people and can maintain 17 full plants per person --he grows 35 or so strains--he grows for a few clinics as well--he said he will profit over $400,000 this month--yikes !!! he said the street stuff has dropped to $200-250 an oz the high grade about 450-600 per oz and some super primo as high as 1200 per oz--he essentially sleeps on a couch and goes out to eat==

among growers he is small time, alot of gangs are running huge grow operations east of the front range--cops are using infa red cams to find huge grow fields north and west of denver.. now the number of grow field has over whelmed law enforcements ability to check validity of growers--they have created a monster--tdd

Sounds like there's a potential for some kind of U.S. economic benefit from this plant.

Or are we just going to keep our heads buried in the sand and let the cartels get richer and stronger?

Why yes, yes we are. Law enforcement and the legal profession would be destroyed if common sense and rational thought were ever introduced to our laws.

I don't think I'm telling tales out of school, but 20 years ago I had a short term job scaling aerial photographs for a government agency. The purpose was to identify grow houses in residential areas. I never really knew where they were taken, as I was given tick marks on the sheets and had to convert to miles.

During the winter, the grow houses stand out like a sore thumb. Everyone else had snow on the roof, due to the excessive heat from the halide lights used in growing operations the roofs of the grow houses were clean as a whistle.

Here in the south this was the first use of remote imaging I ever saw, but not as easy as was hoped. Pot, cotton, and kudzoo all three have very similar heat signatures.

His sentence is non existent, as long as he can produce the proper paperwork showing his client list and their marijuana card numbers.

its all perfectly legal under colorado law---the feds are told to lay-off

you can have 18 plants i'm told for each med lic holder 9 in cutting stage and 9 in growth stage under 1 foot, he has plants 4-5 ft high and over 3 foot in diam you can't even see thru them--good chit.. tdd

there are over 150,000 licenses and rising daily-- my step daughter and 3 grand kids have licenses --my youngest grand daughter says her school is full of pot most kids or parents have licenses-- there are over 1100 dispensaries currently and growing no pun intended--it is colorados cash crop for sure-- tdd

It was very strange to hear all the pot commercials on the radio when I was visiting my foundry in Longmont back in February.

They've done journal boxes for me and sideframes. Spent a mint there.

Andy are you into railroading or what? That foundry must use sand molds and you supply the pattern.
