I made it back home after participating in the 2Million MC's in DC Sept 11th Ride.
What a historic, patriotic day, I will never soon forget. The US Park Service Service Police stopped counting MC's at 1 Million Riders. The Muslim Brotherhood, (MBH) had 59 souls march in their 1Million Man march. Peaceful, but LOUD protest. I rode my MC to remember Sept 11, 2001, to honor the fallen, the First Responders and all who volunteer to protect this great country. -BbBB-)

Hats off to you, and yours.

I always did wonder if the flag waving bikers were the true patriots in USA.

"The Muslim Brotherhood, (MBH) had 59 souls march in their 1Million Man march."

It might be an odd coincidence, but there are roughly twice that number living in some form of privation, wards of the United Nations refugee camps.

Thanks for driving your Harley to Washington.

Nate, you better believe they are!! Next group you see, go see who all is riding. You will find scads of Viet Nam vets, Baptist Ministers and their wives, Catholic Priests and I have a friend that is a Greek Orthodox Priest that will not miss a ride. They may not all be Saints, but they are a good grew of Americans.
Way back in the old days, when the bikers came into town, you hid the valuables and women. Today when they ride do out and have snacks and cold drinks to greet them. Just a tremendous group of people with STRONG core values. We need many more like them.

I'm sorry, I'm seriously slow, could you explain your point?
How does riding a motorcycle help anyone else have a happier life.
I appreciate symbol over substance, you know, but what good is that to those living in privation, as you say?

You lost me, Snidely,

Don
