In the last 18 hours we have had 10.28 inches of rain and it is still raining. I believe the drought is over for us.

I heard yesterday that Central Oklahoma would need 15 inches of rain above normal to declare the drought over. So, not yet. But the trend does seem to be in.

The Police Chief in Nacogdoches told me that he had gotten 13-1/2 inches by this morning.

We ended up with 10.80 inches for the 24 hr reporting period ending at 7:00 am sunday.

I found a link to the rainfall reports for Texas. Thought others here might find it useful.
http://www.drdoppler.net/texasrainfallreports.html

Click on the link based on which NWS district your county is in and then scroll down to your area. Each area appears to be sorted from the most rainfall to the least. You can click on a "previous version" and go back 1 to 7 days.

These are reports from NWS recording stations and individuals that have signed up with their local county to record and report rainfall with a NWS approved raingauge. My wife and I have been doing this for 15 years now.
