I don't really know what happened, but for many hours I could not access my email via yahoo. I went through all their security stuff, changed the password, they sent texts to me with secret codes, but I still could not access my email account. I tried via Explorer and Firefox. All a big notta.
Oddly, I could still surf the internet.
So I turned it all off for a few hours. Turned it back on and it seems to work. Go figure
Now I have a new password (which I hope I remember).
I think tomorrows project will include a chat with my local computer geek store (KTek) for a scan and debugging of things.
Cheers bleggers, and may the Force Be With You

I experienced a similar event with Yahoo in the last few days. I don't remember exactly when it happened as I have also been experiencing fever with my seasonal allergies and after I take my meds and herbal relief, sleep becomes a ticking timebomb and my days have been mixed with nights. I awoke several hours ago at dusk and thought it was around dawn tomorrow already.
Having HughesNet I have been forced to accept those sort of happenings as things go thru updating that causes a domino effect of sites and related web pages to create a fix to keep things smooth. HughesNet itself gets lost with the new updates of some sites and the new stuff will just blow by and leave HughesNet in the dust. Then Microsoft comes along an issues an update that doesn't work with those updates and apparently has issue with my system settings and rewrites stuff that should not be changed.
Thru the course of a few days my system will normally fix itself. However, the more that happens, the less it fixes itself.
For the last few weeks when I restart my computer, it is a 50% chance that it will not boot because it cannot find the operating system, so I have to fiddle the F11 button upon startup and make sure the correct drive is selected to catch the boot info.
Yahoo is going through a major overhaul in the background. Recently Yahoo required me to change my password because my account had been hacked and many of my addys were used to send gibberish messages by email.
One plus was that event let me know the ancient no longer good addys I had on my contact list.
yeah technology 😉
