certain individuals request notification of when their email is read and when it's deleted....
the person here that does it, sends out general information, specifically deadline remainders, etc. to the whole work group - well over a hundred employees. So they send 1 message and get 200 plus back.
are they just lonesome? o.O
I just set those up for junk mail. I wonder if they get an email notice when I delete junk mail about once a month.;-)

Heard of a similar situation. Boss required the person sending the notices to have proof that notice was received. Apparently had a few that deleted the messages before reading and then claimed they had not been notified of deadlines. They had a private meeting with the boss if that happened after the new policy was started.
