50% of the Ring Rings you folk have been getting in the last year or so have been from me. It's a hoot calling the likes of Big Steve and asking how much for one corner.

That reminds me.?ÿ I need to listen again to a voicemail left today that was from a caller in Fort Lauderdale, FL.?ÿ That's about all I could make out on the first listen.?ÿ He must have been in a terrible spot because I would get about three seconds of message then a five second gap then another few seconds then another big gap then a few more seconds of message then...ƒ??ƒ??ƒ??ƒ??ƒ??ƒ??ƒ??ƒ??ƒ??ƒ??ƒ??ƒ??ƒ??ƒ??ƒ??ƒ??ƒ??ƒ??...

Probably a waste of time.

Yeah, I told my wife that I can usually tell that preparing a proposal for a particular caller will be a waste of time within the first three seconds of the call. ?ÿBut who knows, maybe I am wrong one out of ten times? ?ÿSo I respond to every call.

Raise your fees 10% NOW!!!! When the economy is is strong clients don't care, they are too focused on the huge bottom line they anticipate. Believe me, it works. It's called inadvertent distribution of profits. ?????ÿ

Raise your rates and fees now, as FLGA PLS said at least 10% but I would go higher than that as you can always come down if needed but it is hard to go up. Shoot for a 20% increase across the board.?ÿ

The vast majority of our jobs are from past clients, referrals from past clients or people I already know for one reason or another.

@holy-cow

Nope. There is a "Survey Mill" in Orlando that advertises "Nationwide Surveying Services" using Surveyors in other States to perform work sent to them at a rate no professional would touch.

I don't trust anybody anyway. ????
