I'm doing some searching on road easements and dedications and found a nice little paper by a Utah attorney from 2012. Although Utah specific I think it probably describes some very general and widely used legal concepts. Cites lots of cases and also statutory law.

Those who like to study the law should enjoy.

Thanks, I got a few pages in and decided that this article demanded more attention than I can give it at the moment. It is an interesting article as far as roads go.

"From Blazing Trails to Building Highways: SUWA v. BLM & Ancient Easements over Federal Public Lands" is also an interesting paper focusing on RS2477 road/trail issues.
