Greetings all. I took a year or so break from all of this blogging stuff, for no particular reason other than it seemed I spent too much time here. But now it seems time to get back involved. This so called economy has had quite a bit of influence, but that is another matter.
Those here who know of me.... HI, I sure do hope all is well in your respective worlds. Those that don't... well, you will and I hope your world is also well.
Thanks for still being here Wendell & Angel, and staff. I put a plug in for you at the last APLS meeting, but they're a tough bunch.
cheers all
Wayne Griffin RLS
Excellent timing for your return, less than a month until NHL preseason games
I concur.... drop the puck. The best thing about the start of football is that hockey is right behind. I love the re-alignment and it should prove to be really fun for all.
'ceppin maybe this guy... which I'm sure you have equal regard for
edit: it's allegedly Sid the Kid
Hey Wayne:
Glad to see you are back. Was wondering what you had been up to for the past year or so. Did you move back to Kingman? or are you still out in the boonies?
Just to let you know the plotter is still working. It has one little glitch, when it is turned on and goes through the initialization cycle, the two orange data and media lights stay on, but hitting the cancel button takes care of that and from then on, it works fine.
Take care and maybe will see you if I will need to attend an APLS Board meeting if Dave can't make it or if we ever have enough members show up at our Chapter Meetings to vote for new officers and I would get appointed as a Chapter Director again.
Leonard
Hi Leonard, yea I took some time off. Been real slow in these parts for quite some time, at least for me. Tough to deal with the typical low baller, and then the guys coming up from the "big city" for next to nothing to do the good jobs ($$$).
I did move from Meadview and am back in Kingman, cohabitating with my lady the past few months. That was based on the premise that work seemed to be picking up. We'll see what happens in both regards.
cheers to ya bud, glad the plotter is at least working, you ain't missing nothing at the meetings (I'm sure Dave has kept you informed - all 2 members of you)

Welcome Back, Like that Avatar, GO WINGS! Also excited about the new East. So looking forward to not having to choose between sleep and Red Wings.

I'll bet you have the HP Designjet 430. Mine does exactly the same thing. Don't use it much, but can't get rid of it, either.
Another former Michiganian/Michigander returns. Note the post above under humor that came out of Stevensville, MI.
Good to see you back friend :clap:
Hey Roadie...long time, eh. I needed a break to try and make some money. Still trying. Started to look into moving to Austin for a real job, but got kinda busy here, and even some work back in the home state of MI.... soooo
Hope all is well in DFW for ya. Good luck with them pesky Black Hawks though, now that you're division rivals. They be the real deal, for certain - so be sure to keep your game hat on. Now my Wings get to deal with the Bruins & Stevey Y's Lightening. Should be fun for all and can't wait.
...just drop the puck

No, it's a 450C, similar to your 430, that Wayne gave me a year ago that he said had quit working for him and told me I could have it for parts for the 450C I already had. I played around with it when I got it home and got it up and running with the exception of the item I mentioned above. I found that I need to make a daily demo plot just to keep all the ink cartridges in both plotters flowing so that they don't dry out or clog up when I need to make a plot.
