Is it a Big Deal?

Holland, Michigan

Now, that's quite a place. We set up reservations there once at a very nice Dutch-themed restaurant and when we arrived they couldn't find me on their reservations list. Having lived in the area for a couple of years I knew enough to suggest they look for a "C" spelling of the name instead of a "K". Yep, there I were, because I had spelled it when I made the reservation. Only a bunch of silly continental Europeans would spell Cow with a "K".

Caseman is a corruption of Casement. RADAR doesn't mention this very often, but he is one of the heirs to the Casement fortune.

I guess sometimes it could make a difference. Reminds me of this commercial....

Or Doublehung.

Sign it Casement and deposit it.

Considering most signatures, odds are no one can identify the "t" anyway.

Are you sure it wasn't Vander Kow, or Dekowser or even den Klompenkow.

Then again you didn't have enough consecutive vowels to make you a real gringo with devine bovine intervention capabilities. Should have specified that and grown blond hair, be tall and skinny, and have deniable hypocrisy written on your forehead, and forget to tip them... That seems to be their main MO.... and if you ain't like them.. then you just ain't like them 😉

But the area does have some pretty cool beaches, it's the people that ruin it. Now believe it or not, it is the hispanic fruit pickers (illegals?) that are taking over in the gang land department. I'm not being political, just the facts ma'am.

Ethnic name pronunciation

A good Polish joke:

A Polish fella was getting an eye exam. The optometrist asked him if he could read the eye chart on the wall.

"Can I read it?" he replied, "Hell, I live next door to him!"

I don't get it

For those who care...

I just got another email from the guy; he's getting better; this time he spelled my name Casemen....

I still don't think it's a big deal; but it might be. What if he realizes that he's made this mistake 3 or 4 times and I never corrected him.

So my question to the good people of this board: What if it was you that made a small, simple mistake like this and the guy never corrected you; would it piss you off?

Dougie

Speaking of good people on this board; what ever happened to the Sicilian Cowboy?

TIA
