In Florida, does the signing surveyor actually have to work physically in the office, or can he 'tele-comute'?
Chatpter 5-j (our rules) mentions 'surveyor in residence' but doesn't define that. And the phrase 'place of practice' for a licensee and for a business (certificate of authorization holder) is clearly different.
I swear there used to be a requirement that a survey office actually have a surveyor in it, but I can't find that anymore.
Any thoughts?
