Your opportunity to earn 5 dollars for sharing your expert opinion....?ÿ

I got an email, offering me 5 bucks for my expert opinion.

It just seemed like a low offer...?ÿ

🙂

The time spent penning your OP probably cost you more that 5 bucks.

You gotta learn the fine art of the upsell, Nate.

"You want a plan, too. Just $3.00 more. I can stake the line for $4.oo"

There is a book named Drive,?ÿby Daniel Pink. It is about motivation, what gets people to do things.?ÿ

One example is a study of a group of people who were potential blood donors. The group was split into 3. The first group was given no special incentive to donate.?ÿ The second group was offered a $5 reward for donating. And the 3rd was told that a $5 donation would be made to charity if they gave.?ÿ ?ÿ?ÿ

About half of the first and third groups gave. Only about 1/3 of the second group, the one that was to get $5, donated. Offering that small reward actually dis-incentivised people.?ÿ?ÿ
