I'm looking for a repair or maintenance manual for a Zeiss Ni2 automatic level.

I have german user manual, but no repair/maintenenance manual.

Maybe do some research in Zeiss archiv, they will make scan/copies on request for some fees...

I have been looking for a service manual for the Ni2 myself, but have yet to find one. I have not yet gone through the process to reach out to the Zeiss archives. Though I would also consider checking the archives of the Hoboken Historical Museum which has the Keuffel & Esser collection. Because K&E (manufacturing located in Hoboken, NJ) was a distributor of Zeiss instruments and I know they had some Zeiss level booklets, but I don't know their technical extent.

The closet thing I have come across is, "Care and Adjustment of K&E Surveying Instruments", which in Section IV pages 54 - 61, covers the Ni2. It covers basic adjustments but there is a very nice schematic (p. 60) and parts list (p. 61).
