Wild NL & ZL Optical Plummets - For Sale

I have never seen those, but it seems like a good idea. A non OP tribrach, with a rotating op, that can be removed, and an inst installed? Am I getting it right?

Yes, with the distinction that they're designed to accurately project the vertical alignment (up in the case of the ZL, down in the case is the NL) much farther than a normal optical plummet can.
They made several versions; some look up, down, and level and some provide fewer options. From Scott Z's comments I think he's cornered the market on the ZNL which is the best of the bunch. Here's a ZBL being used to set up over a disk and then position a GPS antenna at the top of the Bilby tower.
The Leica ZL and NL plummets have published accuracies of 1:200,000. The ZNL plummet has a published accuracy of 1:30,000.
The NL plummet also uses the Leica GDF-23 tribrach, which has a larger hole than the normal 5/8" diameter hole. This "permits full use of the 30 mm objective of the NL".
From the pictures posted by Jason, both the ZL and NL plummets come with the GDF-23 tribrach and the larger tripod screw.
The NL plummet is part of the NGS equipment used for testing CBLs. A dimple on a CBL brass cap looks more like a lunar crater.
P.S. I have a ZBL plummet which I use for control surveys and testing at a CBL. Its published accuracy is 1:10,000.
I would love a ZNL but can't justify the cost as don't do hirise anymore.
I have seen a ZBL cheap near me with a broken plate bubble. Do you think it would be possible to change the bubble?
I'd like to use it for accurate centring of traverse targets and for checking the other optical plummets.
Ability to plumb up and down short distances would be a bonus.
When was the last calibration?

No, only one. Not sure how easy it will be to source a replacement the correct size and to fix it in the tube. I think they are fixed with resin?
Also - does it require a special tribrach?

The ZBL plummet does not require a special tribrach. With a bit of patience one could eventually get the plummet level with only one bubble.
