Survey CAD Technician Opportunity - Omaha, Kansas City, Salina

Essential Job Functions:
- Working within MicroStation following client driven CAD standards (NCS, DOT??s, UPRR, USACOE, etc.)
- Coordinating with design engineers to develop ROW and ownership plans for various entities.
- Adhering to specific quality control procedures. CAD conform, etc.
- Complete work according to standard surveying principles and practices and compliance with company standards and quality system procedures.
- Create and document easement exhibits, legal descriptions, deed interpretation, layouts, submittals, instructions, and complete survey drawings.
- Perform survey calculations and reports.
Required Skills
- Proficiency with MicroStation preferred. GEOPAK, OPENROADS, etc.
- Able to work with and integrate resources available. Utilizing Google, GIS, lidar mapping, aerial photos, data from other formats. Trimble Business Center (TBC) experience is a plus.
- Capable of completing projects with help from surveying technicians, survey field crews, survey project managers and Professional Land Surveyors.
- Full understanding of CAD deliverable specifications from both internal and external clients.
- Be able to work well in a team environment.
- Full understanding of the various coding systems used by the surveyors.
