Can't make it today. I hope you both had a great time in the Heartland. Angel got to be in St Louis the night the Cards took the Division Championship! Sorry I couldn't hook up. maybe next time. Have a great time this afternoon. It's a great venue!

BeerLegger in Effingham, IL ~ Photos

Thanks a million Marc for the excellent recommendation of venue.

The Firefly was wonderful. Better than that, though, it was so nice to meet our gracious beer leg dot com hosts in person. That 3 hour lunch felt like about 30 minutes, maybe.

Edit: We told our kids "we are going to the middle of Illinois to meet some friends in person that we met on the internet."

Do as I say, not as I do.
