I've often asked that question. I guess the answer is that people here are arrogant enough to think the world revolves around them.
My brother is super interested in baseball, and sometimes goes to the Caribbean league playoffs for a vacation. I don't have the interest to watch any sports. My rule is that I will root for a sports team if one of the players knows me.
