Three positions available:
(1) Transportation Surveyor: Performs LiDAR point cloud registrations and classification, production and quality assurance of digital terrain models and digital elevation models generated from various point clouds (LiDAR, Structure from Motion, Sonar), field surveys and photogrammetric data sources, and CAD map assembly for production and quality assurance of digital data generated from various photogrammetric, LiDAR and sonar data sources.
(2) Transportation Surveyor: Determine ownership boundaries along with deed and map preparation. The incumbent will work with a computer-aided design and mapping system, or ESRI products to make calculations and prepare maps/exhibits and field crew deliverables. Incumbent will prepare and analyze title records, reports, and other related documents. Incumbent will work with other Geomatics’ Sections to ensure all tasks and project details are met and remain on schedule.

(3) Party Chief: Supervise professional and technical field staff performing land boundary, construction, and primary vertical and horizontal control surveys, while incorporating electronic measurement and automatic computations, recordation, and display techniques. This person will also perform a wide variety of difficult and complex professional surveying work.
