Description of the big blob in the center. The south end is about San Antonio, Texas.?ÿ The north end is about the north edge of Iowa.?ÿ The west side is the east side of Colorado and the east side is in the Missouri Ozarks.

Looks like a bunch of romaine lettuce on the floor at Piggly Wiggly. ?????ÿ

We haven't got much of it yet (Austin) but I welcome all we end up with. My yard has been dry for weeks other than a sprinkle here and there.

Nearest one to me is over three and a half hours away and is the only one located in the State of Oklahoma.?ÿ The ones in Arkansas are not nearly as close.
Have some kittens that don't know what this is.?ÿ Carefully sniffing at the edge of the moisture line on the carport floor as they want to get to the food pans there.?ÿ Sort of like a Floridian being in Michigan in early October trying to figure out what that fluffy white stuff falling from the sky is.
Wow!?ÿ The rain gauge showed a total of almost 1.5 inches for the day.?ÿ It has been a LONG time since we've seen such a number.
They are promising more.?ÿ The Texas Panhandle and western parts of Oklahoma have the big blob hanging over them now.?ÿ The big blob from this morning is much farther to the northeast now. (Shreveport to Duluth)
We've had rain off and on today and the forecast is for another half to 3/4 inch.?ÿ This weekend I was scratching around and the ground resembled a poor grade of concrete.
We were walking along a river levee last week that had cracks a good four inches wide in places.?ÿ You could drop a sledge hammer down one and maybe not be able to get it back.
Currently there is a tornado shaped blob starting at the Gulf Coast and reaching to Canada from Mississippi through Wisconsin.?ÿ That is slowly moving to the north.?ÿ The little blob to the west is rotating to the south and is a little to the east of me.?ÿ So my big flood totaled a whopping 1.6 inches.
Mighty Mississippi is looking mighty low..

This might bring it up a bit
This big blob we got the south end of it this morning in East Texas, tore 2 of my backyard trees down into my neighbors. I saw the stars from the tree removal crew bill and wondered why we can't charge this to stakeout a few ROW points in the woods.
