Wetland Survey Insanity

The forges are long gone, all that is left of most are the sand stone foundations and some of their chimneys. Many are designated as historic sites. These are just a few sites in my local area, and, when you see the words char coal, that is burned wood that was smothered before burning to ash. Kinda like seasoned firewood to dry it out quickly.
