I was "awarded" (not to contract phase yet) a job to do some unusual tract surveys. I had never done anything quite like them but I know the country and my estimate was accepted. The company was corresponding back and forth with me to decide just how to proceed.?ÿ
This was last Thursday with a flurry of emails.?ÿ
Then the long weekend and nothing so far this week.
I'm not really thinking much about it since I've got lots to do this week anyway and as I'm driving back from a meeting I hear on a local station that the company laid off a good percentage of the work force on the 22nd or last Friday.?ÿ

Hell, call them and ask. No sense planning time for something that might not happen. ?????ÿ
