Anyone know what type of controller/data collector is compatible with the Topcon GPT-9000 total station/robot? I have the FC-2200 but topcon no longer supports the controller or software (referred to as legacy). Had to do a small topo recording angle rights and vertical distance difference. Called Topcon salesman but they are the worse.

Need a recommendation on what controller/ data collector I can purchase. Or even a good recommendation on what total station has a user friendly data collector setup. Miss the old days of being able to use the HP-48gx and survey modules. Lol.

I am sure someone more knowledgeable will be along, but FWIW ?ÿI have a GPT 9005 robot with ?ÿRC 3 and ?ÿtopcon FC250 with the ?ÿradio module. You may need to check and see if you need that. I know my TS does not have long range bluetooth, and wont work with my RT4. ?ÿthough I suppose Parani is an option. I may try that soon as it would be nice to use the same DC as the gnss.
Seems like most folks recommend staying with topcon for the DC and software and not mixing and matching especaily with that topcon, as it seems to have communication issues with other brands.?ÿ

I have a Sokkia Total Station w/Topcon FC-5000 for sale. Don't know if it would fit what you need, but take a look and let me know if interested. The tablet and total station connect via built in long range bluetooth.

You need a FC2500 or FC250 with the external radio. They can run Topsurv or Carlson. The FC250 an also be compatible with Magnet Field.?ÿ

Unless you also have the RC4 Quick Lock. ?ÿ Then almost any Topcon,Carlson,Survey pro Controller will work
