Currently in the process of switching software from SurvCE6 (data collector: Carlson Surveyor 2) to Fieldgenius10 (data collector: Mesa 2).?ÿ

The issue that I am having (novice surveyor), is that all the jobs we currently have (100's) were created through SurvCE, and while I have no issues uploading points and localization files from SurvCE to Fieldgenius, it seems as though Fieldgenius will not apply that localization file that I have uploaded to the job from SurvCE.?ÿ

Our localizations for our jobs were done by random setup and shooting in control points for references. Only recently we have started applying precision point positioning (PPP) corrections to our localizations, however most of our jobs are still on this local datum with no point corrections and always have a small rotation factor.?ÿ

Now using Fieldgenius, when I setup the base on a job that the PPP corrections have been applied to the points, checking with the rover on other control points always checkout. However, when I set up the base on a job that is on our local datum from initial SurvCE setup, it is like the base is not recognizing the local coordinate that I have assigned it and therefore, none of the control points that I check to with the rover will line up within that job.?ÿ

I can just physically re-localize each job, however, with hundreds of locations that we have local surveys for, this would amount to much wasted time. Additionally, many of these local surveys were done 10+ years ago, and I know that many of the FIP's that were shot for reference in certain locations no longer exist (damn farmers and their cultivators).?ÿ

Therefor, I am wondering if it is possible, and how, to get the Fieldgenius cooking on the old SurvCE local surveys.
