Saturday night I was invited to go see Soulhat with my friend at a local venue called Antone's. It's a small-ish venue and the show was quite enjoyable. I'm not really a fan of "jam bands" but Soulhat put on a good performance and the crowd was really into it.
The opener was a rockabilly band called Grackle's. They reminded me of the Travelling Wilbury's with Roy Orbison and Tom Petty.

I never knew Johnny Cash was not the original of Ring of Fire. I had to look it up and found that Anita Carter did the original recording. Her version was pretty good, but I do like Johnny Cash's version better.
