I have a Magna-Trak 200 that has worked well for me for that last 2+ years. All of a sudden it just started screaming whenever it is powered on. I have tried changing the batteries but I still have the same issue. Any ideas on how to fix this before I send it off to a repair shop?

Remove the little magnet from the tip, that accidentally got stuck there.
