Just wrapped up cutting 5 acres off of 15.?ÿ One line was a creek, so I looked to see if there was a flood zone designated.?ÿ Since there was, I noted it on the drawing.

Showing FEMA information is not something specifically required in my county or specifically addressed in statute (although I would say it is addressed indirectly).

What about your area of practice??ÿ Is showing FEMA information SOP as professional practice, required by ordinance or statute, or just not done.

As usual, it depends.?ÿ It's certainly not required on our boundary surveys but is certainly something you may want to relay to your client.?ÿ If we're subdividing property it is 100% needed in every municipality I work in.

I allways refer to the Zone and Map Panel. If a flood boundary crosses the Survey area, I show it.?ÿ

In several counties I regularly work in (Ohio) the SFHA zone is to be shown on the plat for a parcel split

For boundary surveys that are going to be recorded, no, not without a specific need. For building permit plans and topographic survey plans, yes, regularly.
