Good day! I am looking for a stylesheet (.XLS or .FRT) for Leica Captivate (under Leica CS20) that can export any data format such as CSV/ TXT/ ASCII/ XML with PNEZD plus timestamp heading as shown in the example (cannot attach jpeg). Order of heading and values can be interchanged as long as it has the values in a single data format. Hope you can help. Thank you.

Ex.

Point ID - Northing - Easting - Elevation - Description - Date and Time

Note: Leica doesn't seem to have customization in survey stylesheets. I have no access also to the old Format Manager of Leica.

its kind of a mystery unless you're using the Infinity software, the Leica data dump isn't like the Trimble stuff, unfortunately. I'm a recent swap to Leica and its been a painful reality.

I've been working on the export as asci process and it requires a few more seconds from the field personnel but that's the best i have come up with yet. There are several users here that do know far more than Ill probably ever try to learn about the Leica stuff, but I learn anyway, just a bad habit. Welcome to site, start poking and Posting around.

Why do you need the time stamp? Are you using this to check on some underlings' productivity?

I've been through a few companies, and I've never seen this used, mainly because it would be extraneous data. For GPS observations, I could understand, but not for total station jobs.

At a previous employment, we had a software savvy intern create just a style sheet in Trimble Access. When we would perform our yearly USACE dam or lock and dam surveys, we were required to produce only the raw data and then the USACE would apply all the atmospheric corrections etc. based on the timestamps. It also proved that we returned to the BS at least every 30 minutes. I think ours showed PtNo, STA, BS STA, HI, HT, SD, VD, prism const, and timestamp. Could be missing one.

I am conducting a bathymetric survey using a single beam echosounder and paired to a Leica GNSSS receiver.

I have found out that Trimble is more customizable than Leica.

"I have no access also to the old Format Manager of Leica."

No one has an old copy of Geo Office? I'm pretty sure the Format Manager was included with that. I do not believe you need the dongle to run the Format Manager. You just had to have the software installed.
