Hi all. Fired up my leica 1201+ this morning and was greeted by this around the crosshairs in the eyepice. Any ideas what is causing this?

I assume you mean the faint random pattern shape around the center area of the black crosshairs.
Appears to be some sort of stain from liquid, condensation, lubricant fluid or something???
Odd.
Forward to Chris in Poland who repairs Leicas.
