I am friends with Kent on the facebook and he still posts lots of great survey lessons and an occasianal picture of his paintings. When I was in Austin last year, I sumbled across one of his points downtown.?ÿ I snapped a picture of it and sent it to him through Messenger.?ÿ Within minutes he responded with my exact location and a detailed historical report for that control point along with the statistal confidence level tested at 95% ?????ÿ

@paden-cash

Buc-ees is a giant rest stop.

We stopped at several during our May 2019 baseball trip through Texas.Generally pretty clean, family oriented, some interesting fastfood/road food, lots of shopping, if that's your preference, and clean restrooms.

We drove from Dallas-Ft Worth to Waco to Austin to San Antonio to Luling to Houston and Galveston.

The non-baseball cities were much more intersting.

Highlights were side trips to the LBJ Ranch and the Johnson Space Center.?ÿ

It's been two years since the last trip, and we are hoping to get one in this year. We cancelled Detroit in 2020, and didn't even bother to plan one in 2021.

A.
