I'm just impressed that people still use the word "hussy". That's good up bringin'.
Around here a hussy is one notch up on the scale from a biddy. Biddies work at the courthouse and I run into hussies in the Piggly Wiggly parking lot.
A bleached blond hussy in a black suburban is usually considered a Karen.
What ever happened to Jezebelian Whore?
curious minds want to know...
This ... This is what happened to her. --> NOT GOOD

So then where does the always nuclear C-Bomb fit in?
And no sh@#, google is giving prices of $300-700. Where the heck are these prices coming from?
I think Google is confusing a mortgage certificate with an actual survey.
Possible. But that's what you get when you just google the cost of a survey. And that's what people are basing their surprise on.
Luckily, no one is really doing them for that. I'm assuming that people are just winging it, and having their fence or whatever installed, on just a guess.
I guess proving how right she is has its limit. And $100 is it
I got scammed out of $100 once and I was so mad I ended up calling a lawyer about it. I didn't mention how much I lost but I briefly explained what happened. The first thing he said to me was "How much is (the wronging) worth to ya?"
I thought... what do you mean how much is it worth to me? This human trash needs to be taught a lesson!
Then I had the facepalm moment where I remembered money turns the wheels of justice.
So then where does the always nuclear C-Bomb fit in?
I'm not licensed to use that word. Like the N-word or the B-word, you can't use those words unless you are one. 😉
So, if you tell someone you are headed to the C-store, what are you telling them about you?
@oldpacer I am guessing no horseshoe pins were available for a back corner.
Follow up on one of the google price quoters: "it's just not in my budget for this year I still have to do the fence and that is going to cost me and arm and a leg"
Maybe it's me. He said he needed the survey to know where to put the fence. He doesn't have the money for the survey, so he's just going with the fence.? Ok
I hear you there. I took someone to small claims court last year. Won a $500 judgement, and still haven't received any of it.
The process is messed up. My options are to pay a sheriff $100 to serve him, and he still might not pay. But that will get added to what he owes me, and interest accrues until he does, and in 8 years, if he still hasn't paid, I can have him served again, and that will really get him then, since he'll owe me $700 plus interest....
But it's nice being right, even if I get nothing from it. i guess
Where the heck are these prices coming from?
Angies List or whatever it is called is the one that I get. They are completely wrong on their pricing, and there is no way it is based on any real research.
Same $700

saw this price range on Quicken Loans website on why you need a survey.
Which is why people have the idea it should be so cheap.
Maybe Survey needs to be a simple 2.8% of the total price of the transaction.
They never bat an eye at the Realtors' fee ever.
@jitterboogie “They never bat an eye at the Realtors' fee ever.”
You never met my father.
sounds like a great man
Angi's got some interesting numbers for sure.
I've given $100 boundary surveys out (for free!) by giving the property owner a pdf with some CAD dimensions and describing how, with a couple long tapes, a couple buddies and a case, he can probably locate his "pins" himself.
