We're running Carlson Surveyor+ and Surveyor2 Windows Mobile based data collectors with Carlson SurvCE 4 and 5.
We use Leica CS15s at work with both Carlson & Leica Viva installed. The TS gets Carlson (although we do have Viva just in case); the GS14 GPS unit gets Viva exclusively.
My personal DC is a Juniper Mesa 2 w/FieldGenius 9 to interface with my Sokkia SET330R3 TS.
That's what we have, but if the windows mobile went down, would you go with a tablet. Like just surveyor said, windows mobile is a dead platform.

The Surveyor 2 DC??s that I have run on Windows Embeded. I was under the impression that was part of the Windows IoT family, what I thought was the next generation of mobile OS from Microsoft after Windows Mobile. Am I wrong about that?
