Does anyone know if Trimble Survey Controller v 12.22 will run a Trimble R8 Model 3? Or will only Access run the R8-3? When I try to connect the TSC2 to the R8-3 I get a message that says "unrecognized receiver type". Thanks for any help.

I get the same error, I don't believe it's possible to run a r8-3 with survey controller.

Yes, it is possible. You just need to have the newest version of Survey Controller, v12.50.
