Hi, I am looking for a/the current new brand of total station or robot that uses SurvCE onboard or a complete field survey software . I like topcon however to the best I can tell topcon offers magnet software on board that communicates with the office. I'm not sure what that is. I have always used separate data collectors but if a screen on a new lighter total station is completely sunlight readable I am open to trying new software. I have no reason to communicate with the office. I am the office. Anyone out there with a small company that does a lot of boundary work would know what I am searching for here. A new light total station with onboard software with basic survey field functions like SMI, and SurvCE. Please chime in.?ÿ

The onboard magnet is a standard data collection program. Using a usb stick or cable you could upload points for stakeout or download your topo data as a txt or csv. ?ÿ Usual ?ÿformats like dwg and dxf ?ÿare also supported.

however a robot will usually be controller driven. ?ÿNo need to have a person at the gun
