I am looking into purchasing a used collector. I see a few Teslas for sale. Anybody use one? Thoughts, ideas? I currently use an FC-2500 with TOPSURV and it is starting to ghost click and get hung up. I had the screen replaced a year ago cost $800.00, I don't want to spend that again for 1 year of use.?ÿ?ÿ

What software were you running on the FC-2500??ÿ If it was TopSURV, Topcon will no longer provide the activation codes to enable the software to operate.?ÿ If you had Carlson SurvCE on the 2500, Carlson will allow you to move that license, presuming that it was registered in your name.

Magnet Field is the replacement for TopSURV, and if you have run TopSurv, you would find similarity between the two.?ÿ The gap between TopSURV and Magnet continues to widen and is notable now that we are several years removed from the release of Magnet.

I'm Running TopSurv 8. I'm willing to switch to Magnet Field but I'm wondering how the Tesla tablets are.

My observation about those units is that they were generally solid.?ÿ The large screen area offers more real estate to get nicked but if you take reasonable care of your stuff, and you must, then a Tesla may provide a good option for you if you can find one at a good price.

I've used a Tesla with Magnet since 2014 and have been very happy with it. It's been very stable and as Jerry said above, the screen is good size.?ÿ
