Hi,

Is it possible to edit feature code attribute values in TBC? For example, if I have an attribute for a tree shot that I want to change from Oak to Pine, can that be done in TBC? Ideally, I'd like to use the advanced select to choose multiple points, then change the attribute value for all of them at once.

Thanks!
Jeff

I don't know what version of TBC you're running, I'm going to assume a fairly recent one (3.90 is the current).

You have to process feature codes; go to the Project Settings and assign the FXL file that was used in the field, then in the Survey tab run the Process Feature Codes command. After that runs, hit the dropdown arrow at the bottom of the Process Feature Codes icon and select Feature, this will open the Feature spreadsheet.

Each of the feature codes used in the job is displayed in it's own spreadsheet, you select the one you want from the pick window at top left. You can edit the attributes here. Be aware, however, that if an attribute is set up as a pick list you're limited to the items that are on that list.

The attached photo is the Feature Spreadsheet. In theory you could edit the attribute for multiple points by selecting them (using CTRL or SHIFT) and then going to Properties; in reality that only works if ALL the attributes for the selected points are identical.

Hi Lee,

Thanks for the tip. That's what I was looking for.
