Rotating view in paper space without affecting coordinates

Can anyone walk me through the steps using the UCS command to rotate my paper space viewport to orient my view of model space in Carlson Survey/Intellicad 10.1? I've messed around with it but afraid of blowing something up while I'm completely slammed on some huge jobs I need to get staked in a very short period of time. TIA.
