@olemanriver

In PLSSia, I have been told North-South lines are lines but East-West lines are curves.  I've never quite figured out what a Southwest-Northeast line is supposed to be.

So, a block 400 feet long from West to East must have curved lot lines.  How much 'bend' in each 50-foot lot?

Less than you can measure...

@jim in AZ. You are not supposed to tell me the answers lol that’s cheating. I actually have every one of his questions screenshot and a note in my notebook to look them all up. This is my first night this week i have not worked until 1100 pm. Had a out of town crews doing static and long level runs and a bunch of stuff i have been supporting all week plus juggling the other projects. You know those projects where Murphy hangs out. Rental equipment cow bell battery dies after an hour one reciever had that issue where it was randomly stop logging and then create another file and keep logging but have gaps and i had some long baselines. Luckily the last couple days went smoothly and i finally got my two 4 hour sessions and worked backwards. Those jobs as i sat at the kitchen table getting calls from the crews still on site at dark asking questions. The wife with that look in her eye. Also kids first week back to school. Tonight i was done by 7 and we sat ate dinner and watched beverly hillbillies. Lol. Tomorrow back to the grind. Next week out of town to do some mountain surveys. Two crews in two different locations out of state. So i am putting the boots on. I think my ls is coming with as we have no one I mean no one else. But time is ticking. Lol. I hope holy cow doesn’t count that cheating against me jim. My grades are not good as it is.  And he is a tough teacher
