I am going to be staking out some curb in the near future and was curious if there is a way to calculate a radius point from existing linework and/or existing points along a curve? Typically the radius points are given to us in the CAD files but occasionally they will be missing and Iƒ??d like a way to quickly calculate one while in the field. Iƒ??m aware of how to create points on a curve from the map screen so I assumed thereƒ??s a way to calculate the RP from the PC and PT.?ÿ

Yes. Use the snaps create points from cad line. Pretty simple really. Try it.

@leegreen after I select the cad line I see the option to create>points> and then select “Curve RP’s” but that doesn’t seem to be working.

The line doesn't  contain an arc.

there has to be a way to do a distance distant intersection for be able to calc in by swinging the delta.
