Good morning, grip edit does not work at all in my CAD from Carlson, running with Intellicad 9. Any ideas to enable grip edits?

My grips are working with GRIPS variable set to "2".  Sometimes things get changed somehow...

Command: GRIPS, enter "2"

Let me know if that helps.  You've probably already rebooted....

@learner grips only have 0 (off) or 1 (on), regrettably, i have tried them and still no change

@moe-shetty

Newer versions of AutoCAD and IntelliCAD do permit the GRIPS variable to be 0, 1 or 2:

https://help.autodesk.com/view/ACD/2024/ENU/?guid=GUID-97AD30F3-A1A3-4027-91B7-49008841A447

When you list the entity(ies) that are experiencing the problem, what do they list as (e.g. XREF or BLOCK/INSERT, etc)?

Also, are the entities on a locked layer?

If an AUDIT is run on the DWG, does that action correct the problem?

Does the behavior happen just in one DWG or all DWGs?

Which build (Help -- About Carlson) are you running?

Hopefully this points you in the correct direction.
