I sent this to tech support, also. ?ÿBut today is Sunday, so I will leave this here, as well.

What setting do I need to change when doing a conversion from my Carlson to C3D so that we do not lose the multiple codes.

For example, in the following data set, my C3D user only sees one code where I still see multiple codes.

1042 I see FLO & XINV
C3D only sees FLO

1049 I see ES & XINV
C3D only sees ES

1040,1566909.742,210946.804,786.161,X,
1041,1566996.531,211067.799,778.721,FLO,
1042,1567022.902,211083.479,779.922,FLO XINV/ 18"PVC,
1043,1567023.429,211089.880,781.713,XINV/ 18"PVC FROM NELY,
1044,1567026.336,211094.210,786.087,XINV/ 12" FROM NELY,

1048,1567023.916,211067.343,785.092,CNC,
1049,1567026.040,211067.168,785.771,ES XINV/ 12" HDPE FROM WEST,
1050,1567032.422,211079.099,784.098,XINV/ 3.8' ELLIPSE CMP,
1051,1567032.611,211086.663,784.020,XINV/ 4.0' ELLIPSE CMP,

It's highly unlikely that you are losing codes.

This is most likely a point label style and/or description key issue.

Tell your C3D user to open the Properties pane and review both the "Raw Description" and the "Full Description" fields. My money is on the Raw Description containing all your codes.

I agree with Rover83.  The issues is a setting in C3D. May also be the "/" .

Try replacing the "/ " with an  "_"

The above issues explain the problem.  You have to set up your field coding around what the C3D coding can accept.
