I don??t know what is going on but all of a sudden my ??saveas? function has changed.
( Carlson 2019 over AitoCAD C3D 2013)
When I use the saveas instruction I get instructions displayed in the command line at the bottom of the screen.?ÿ
First question is what format I want to use and it will default to 2013 as that is what the setup is set for, so I just default through that question.
The next line gives me the pathe to the current file and no way to change the enamel or search for a different folder.
Very strange after years of blowing through the pop up screens that allow me to search and scroll to different folders and files.
Anyone know what obscure setting or CAD god I have messed with ? I sure would like to get this fixed so I could go on with my work.

Sounds to me like it's a CAD setting that you changed.
I'm also banging my head against the wall, I just got a new lap top and upgraded from Carlson 2018 to 2022 running C3D, upgraded to the latest version.?ÿ I did something stupid a few days ago and my command bar vanished.?ÿ It's driving me crazy!?ÿ
Not sure if this is like acad but there it means your environment variable for filedia has changed from 1 to 0 or viceversa.
your file dialog boxes are surpressed and redirected to the commandprompt.
Set variable FILEDIA to 1.
