Ron Albertini left us a few days ago from complications of heart surgery.?ÿ He was a good man and an even better surveyor.?ÿ He will be missed in a variety of ways.?ÿ There appears to be an error in the obituary as his military experience was during the Viet Nam era not the Korean War.

@norman-oklahoma

This is the mysterious Ron Z. from my post a few days ago.?ÿ I was aware he was to have heart valve replacement surgery but no one expected the surgeon would find other issues during the surgery.

@holy-cow?ÿ

72 is too young. Nevertheless, he seems to have made full use of the short time he had.

I am aware that there was some serious, but little known, fighting in Korea in the mid to late 60's when he would have been of that age. Perhaps that is the cause of the confusion.?ÿ?ÿ

@norman-oklahoma?ÿ

His clients are scrambling, as can be expected.?ÿ Within an hour of learning of his death I received a call from a regular client asking if he could give my name to one of his clients who had been working with Ron.

Received another call a few minutes ago from a potential client who had been working with Ron.?ÿ He got my name from a completely different source.

Not sure if I really want to jump into two partially completed projects, but someone will need to do so.?ÿ I think both potential clients may experience sticker shock.

@holy-cow?ÿ

If there are any young surveyors in your area looking to hang out their shingle it would seem to be an excellent time.?ÿ
