Has anybody had any experience of viewing software suitable to give to clients, so that they can view the survey point cloud data without having to spend a fortune?

Trimble are very keen to quote prices for their UAVs and for TBC3 software (and to ask for the order), but are totally unresponsive when we ask about data viewers we can supply to clients.

Many of the clients (quarries, landfill sites etc.) need surveys for volumes and general records, which we currently do by traditional ground survey methods as the sites are typically small.

It is rare that the client will actually want to use the data themselves (they just need the plans and calculated volumes), but the provision of a viewable point cloud would be a beneficial addition for site management purposes. This wouldn't necessarily bring in much more direct income, but it would help safeguard us against competition from conventional survey and might encourage more frequent survey visits to be requested. Every extra bit will help to justify the cost of the equipment.
