I was within 30 feet of two white tail does this morning. We were attempting to encourage a couple of young llamas to come out of the trees to join the other 20 down by the road. I was walking towards them when I realized there were actually four critters. The does and the llamas were apparently buddies. I walked them all together for about 200 feet before the does spooked and tore off to one side. As they went past a fair-sized cedar (oops, juniper) tree another doe jumped up and joined them.
Late this afternoon as I drove into the carport there was a full-grown doe standing about 150 feet from me in the wide open. She watched me get out of the vehicle and walk into the house as if she were invisible to me.
Pics!! Pics!!! How cute that they are all buddies!!! Awww...
While driving to work yesterday morning I saw a big Piebold deer standing on the side of the road. I haven't seen one of these in years and slowed down to get a better look. While trying to find my camera I counted 12 pts and he was 'profiling' while standing on the shoulder of the road....beautiful deer.....Wasn't quick enough with the camera but it was something to see here in Crittenden County Ar
Snuff, love your avatar of your doggy!! :dog: 🙂
That dog looks familiar. What is your name? send me an email if you wish.
I know a few guys that work in Memphis, but live in Arkansas. Would be good to say hi to them again.
Mr. Cleveland,
It was William Kendall under the old board.....just thought I would change some things here at Beer Leg....still working for the City.
That's my lab Ace...
Mr. Kendall,
Great to see you here!
One of the guys I worked with at Allen Hoshall works solo, and has a lab that he named Solo, or something like that, and takes him in the field with him. I thought it may have been him posting.
Glad to see you here, and Happy Thanksgiving.
Jimmy
