The game was supposed to be played in the Ukraine but was shifted to Cyprus last week due to the revolt and continued unrest in Ukraine.
I have read that the Ukraine has players of both Russian and Ukrainian descent on the team and the manger is of Russian descent. It should be a good game. because Ukraine did not qualify for the world cup this summer and are looking to build towards Euro 2016 cup.
The USA is till looking at payers to fill our roaster for the World Cup in Rio this summer.
I just watched the game and the Ukrainians played like a typical Eastern European team. Smart, good passes to the open player and the ability to maintain possession and play the ball with players hanging all over them. Back line for the U.S. was pathetic. The Ukrainians insisted it was not a friendly and a must win game. They won it and deservedly so.

Oneyu is finished for the MNT. I though that was evident last year. But there wewre others who were screwing up. Cameron and the young German kid.
Nobody was really into the game on the USA side.
Nice to see Aquedelo get another chance even thought it was closing minutes.
Watched some of the Spain/Italy game and that game made the USA/Ukraine game look like an adult rec game.:-O
Next month's friendly against Mexico will be the real USA WC team... but being in the group of death. USA may leave Brazil without a win or draw.
Too bad because Klinsmann is doing his best to develop the MNT.
